Vidya Balan not starring in Beggar. Vijay Sethupathi-Puri Jagannath's project is generating immense interest among movie lovers. Rumours spread that the film would feature Bollywood beauty Vidya Balan in important role.

However, sources confirmed that Vidya Balan is not in the project. A source shares “Vidya Balan has never been approached for any role in Puri Jagannath’s film. These reports are completely false and unfounded,”

The source adds that however Tabu is part of the project. Source shared “This is a performance-oriented role, and Tabu was the first and only choice. She loved the script and is giving it her best,”

The source added that even Vidya Balan is not doing Balakrishna's Akhanda. The source reveals “Vidya was never considered for Akhanda 2. These rumors have died down now,”

Balakrishna's Akhanda Thaandavam is directed by Boyapati Srinu and the film is progressing in full swing. Vidya Balan earlier starred in Balakrishna's NTR-Kathanayakudu, NTR-Mahanayakudu.
