Yash Toxic to Release in December 2025

The Kannada film industry is currently experiencing a lull, but it's expected to change by April or May, according to Karthik Gowda of KRG Cinemas, a production and distribution firm in Karnataka. A slew of good films, including Vidyapati, Agnyathavasi, Firefly, Ekka, 45, Kantara Chapter 1, KD-The Devil, and Toxic, are set to release in the course of the year. 

While some films have announced their release dates, others like KD and Toxic are yet to confirm theirs. Rumors have been circulating that Toxic, initially announced as an April 10, 2025 release, would still hit theatres this year, with December being the likely window.

Karthik Gowda confirms this, although he doesn't offer a specific date. As of now, December doesn't have any major Indian films listed for release, but that could change in the coming days. In Kannada, Dhruva Sarja's KD and Darshan Thoogudeepa's Devil are likely contenders. 

The only big film confirmed for December is James Cameron's Avatar 3: Fire and Ash, which will release on December 19. However, this is unlikely to pose a significant threat to Toxic's box office performance.
