Naga Chaitanya latest Telugu romantic drama Thandel has taken the box office by storm grossing an impressive Rs.62.47 crore worldwide in just three days. Directed by Chandoo Mondeti the film stars Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles. Thandel exceptional performance has made it the highest opening weekend collection for Naga Chaitanya shattering records for tier 2 heroes. The film consistent earnings of close to 20 crore per day have already recouped major investments with distributors in all regions set to benefit from the film success.

The budget of the film is Rs.75 Crores. Having sold the film non theatrical rights for a significant amount of Rs.65 crores in addition to Rs.35 crores from theatrical rights totaling Rs.100 crores in business. To attain a clean Hit status Thandel needs to cross Rs.100 crores gross which will convert into Rs.50+ crore share. Thandel is poised to continue its successful run at the box office making it Naga Chaitanya highest grossing film.
