The narrative of Captain Miller unfolds against the backdrop of British rule, focusing on a young man named Agneeswara (Dhanush). Initially, he proudly serves as Captain Miller in the British Army, defying the wishes of his fellow villagers. The plot explores the consequences he confronts, depicting the reactions of his brother Sivanna (Shivarajkumar) and the roles played by key characters like King Rajendra Bhupathi (Jaya Prakash), Bhanumati (Priyanka Arul Mohan), Shakuntala (Aditi Balan), Thaenu (Nivedithaa Satish), Prince (John Kokken), and Captain Rafi (Sundeep Kishan). The tale unravels the complex interplay of loyalty, personal choices, and the impact of historical circumstances on individuals' lives.

Captain Miller (2024) Telugu Movie: Rating Analysis
In its entirety, Captain Miller emerges as a standard action film. Arun Matheswaran aimed to present Dhanush in an intense action-oriented role, a feat he accomplished successfully. However, the film falls short of resonating with the audience, primarily due to the absence of compelling emotions in the storyline. The narrative is heavily focused on action sequences, but even this aspect falters, with Matheswaran taking excessive cinematic liberties that compromise the film's coherence. Taking into account these factors, Cinejosh assigns a rating of 2 to Captain Miller.
