HC dismisses Mansoor Ali Khan defamation case against Chiranjeevi. The Madras High Court unequivocally dismissed Mansoor Ali Khan's defamation lawsuit against Trisha, Khushboo, and Chiranjeevi, underscoring that if anyone were to pursue legal action, it should have been Trisha. The lawsuit arose from Mansoor's objectionable remarks during a November promotional interview for the movie "Leo."

In refusing to entertain Mansoor Ali Khan's plea, the Madras HC admonished him, emphasizing the need for appropriate behavior. The court expressed concern about Mansoor's influence as an actor, stating, "When you are an actor, youngsters look up to you as a role model. Is it right for you to behave in such an uncultured manner?" Additionally, the court directed Mansoor's advocate to counsel the actor on displaying appropriate conduct in public spaces.

Notably, Khushboo, Chiranjeevi, and other actors from various industries publicly condemned Mansoor Ali Khan's offensive statements and rallied behind Trisha during the controversy.

Mansoor Ali Khan's defamation suit followed his public apology to Trisha, wherein he issued a lengthy statement: "My co-star Trisha, please forgive me. I hope the gods bless me with the opportunity to wish you well when you enter wedlock." Despite the apology, the Madras High Court maintained its stance in dismissing the lawsuit, underscoring the significance of responsible behavior for public figures like Mansoor.
