Chief Minister K Rosaiah on Monday left for Chittor district to review the arrangements for the laying of foundation stone for the joint venture NTPC-BHEL Power Equipments Project site at Mannavaram near Tirupati in Srikalahasthi Mandal. 

Rosaiah is inspecting the project site which is scheduled to be visited by Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh who will lay the foundation stone on July 10.

 According to the CM's Camp Office sources, the Chief Minister, will meet officials at the airport, will inspect the proposed site where the Prime Minister will lay the stone for the International airport and the public meeting venue where Singh will address.

 The Tirupati International Airport is the dream of several devotees from across the nation.

 Later, the Chief Minister will proceed to the Mannavaram along with Ministers and officials to give the final touches to the arrangements being made for the Prime Minister's visit there.The State has allotted 750 acres for the Joint Venture project.
