Jagan meets Governor

Kadapa MP Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy on Saturday met Governor E S L Narasimhan at the Raj Bhavan.The meeting assumed significance after the violent developments that led to police firing and stone-pelting in Mahabubabad railway station in Warangal district.

The meeting lasted nearly 45 minutes. According to sources, Jagan explained to the Governor how the violence broke out between Telangana supporters and Congress workers at Mahabubabad railway station, which finally led to police firing.

He informed the Governor that his yatra was launched to console the families of those who died after his father’s death and it was not meant for gaining any political mileage.After the meeting, Jagan evaded the media and directly went to his house.
