Former MP of Vijayawada Lagadapati Rajagopal, who had strongly opposed the formation of Telangana State, has praised Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao.

Lagadapati, who had quit active politics after the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh in 2014, performed special pooja at Yadadari Temple on Saturday. Speaking to media persons later, the former Congress leader praised KCR for the steps that he took for the development of Yadadari Temple. He said that the facilities and infrastructure at the temple were of international standards and this would bring global recognition to Yadadari Temple. He said KCR's name would be entered into history in golden words if he completes all the proposed development works.
