Congress MP V. Hanumantha Rao has advised Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao to be cautions with Owaisi brothers as they have gained notoriety for changing loyalties.

Speaking to media persons in Assembly premises here on Thursday, VHR said he had warned the then Chief Minister Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy against promoting Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi and his brother Akbaruddin Owaisi. However, YSR did not listen and the consequences were now being faced by the entire Congress party. He said KCR and his son K. Tarakarama Rao would meet the same fate as of Congress leaders if they continue their friendship with Owaisi brothers. He dubbed them as snakes that bite their own feeders.

VHR said both the brothers were not like late Sultan Salahuddin Owaisi who used to give lot of respect to others. He said former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi visited MIM headquarters Darulsalaam as she was given huge respected by Salahuddin Owaisi. Further, he said Darulsalaam was a public property which was given to MIM by the then Congress Government. He slammed Owaisi brothers for using derogatory language against Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. He also advised both MIM and BJP to take a clear stand on Beef.

The Congress MP accused Akbaruddin Owaisi of speaking in the tone of 'Bid Laden'.
