T-Congress leaders gear up for Digvijay Singh's visit

AICC General Secretary Digvijay Singh will participate in the meeting of Coordination Committee of Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee to be held on Thursday.

Digvijay Singh, who is arriving in the city on Wednesday night, will also review the status of membership drive in Telangana. According to sources, he is also likely to give nod for the reconstitution of Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee as recommended by the new TPCC chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy. His might hold separate meetings with the party MLAs and MLCs to discuss various issues including the change of LoPs. He is also likely to pacify some leaders who opposed the elevation of Mohammed Ali Shabbir as the CLP leader in Legislative Council.

This is Digvijay Singh's first visit after the appointment of Uttam Kumar Reddy as the new TPCC chief.
