TRS is not joining Modi-led Govt: Jagadish Reddy

Energy Minister Jagadish Reddy on Tuesday dismissed the reports that claimed that Telangana Rashtra Samithi was planning to join the BJP-led NDA Government at the Centre.

Speaking to media persons here, Jagadish Reddy described all such reports as mere speculations and baseless. He claimed that the TRS has no plans to join the Narendra Modi-led Government. He said Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao called on the Prime Minister to make representations on issues concerning Telangana State. He said no political motives should be attributed to the meeting. He said the TRS did not even discuss any proposal to join the NDA Government.

Jagadish Reddy said that the Chief Minister met Modi as the head of State Government and it should not be linked with politics. He said government and politics are two different things and should not be linked.
