Motkupalli seeks KCR apology for "insulting" Dalits

Accusing Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao of insulting all Dalits by dismissing Dr T Rajaiah from the cabinet in an unceremonious manner, TDP senior leader Mothkupalli Narasimhulu on Friday demanded that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao tender an apology for his act.

Speaking to media persons here, Mothkupalli slammed KCR for dismissing Rajaiah without even giving him an opportunity to give clarification on the allegations leveled against him. Through his dictatorial attitude, KCR has insulted all Dalits, especially the Madigas. He reiterated the allegation that newly inducted Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari does not belong to Scheduled Caste. He said he was ready to prove his charges if Kadiam approaches a court to get clarity on his caste. He also dismissed Kadiam's allegation that he was jealous of him on his elevation to the post of Deputy CM. He said he was raising a voice of protest as the post of Deputy CM held by a Dalit has been usurped by a non-SC.
