Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president Ponnala Lakshmaiah has described Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao's three-day tour of Warangal district as a flop show.

Speaking to media persons at Gandhi Bhavan here on Monday, Ponnala accused KCR of enacting 'dramas' in view of municipal elections. He said that the Chief Minister would make 50 new promises every day and would pull up officials for every single mistake. He said that the government would never implement those promises and they would remain on paper. He said KCR would be enacting similar 'dramas' in Karimnagar and Nizamabad districts. He said all these moves are aimed at winning municipal elections.

Ponnala advised KCR to start acting seriously for the development of Telangana State. He said KCR should get Central funds by taking all opposition parties into confidence. He said not only people, but the TRS leaders themselves have started losing faith on KCR.
