Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has expressed confidence that Budget 2014-15 presented by Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu on Wednesday would put the State's economy back on track.

Speaking to media persons here, Chandrababu Naidu said that financial damage caused to the State due to bifurcations has been broadly explained in the budget speech. He requested the Centre to compensate for the deficit that aroused due to State's division. He alleged that irregularities and mismanagement, compounded by bifurcation deteriorating the financial status of Andhra Pradesh, which otherwise was revenue surplus State.

Naidu said efforts would be made to bring back the State's economy on the path of recovery in the next two months.
