Telangana Marketing Minister T Harish Rao on Wednesday said that the government was considering a proposal to start Rs 10 per meal scheme for labourers.
Speaking to media person after reviewing the Rythu Bandhu Pathamakam at Telugu University here, Harish Rao said that the government would introduce the subsidised meal scheme after having a thorough review with the officials. He also announced that the government was keen to introduce e-Marketing, e-trading and e-tendering. He said that the conditions at market yards would be introduced and farmers would be involved in the policy making decisions.
Harish Rao said that the government was trying to increase the mandays under the NREGS.
