YSRCP asks actor Pawan to hold his tongue

Coming down heavily on actor Pawan Kalyan for his unwarranted outburst against its president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and for criticizing late YS Rajasekhara Reddy, YSR Congress Party today warned the actor to hold his tongue and watch his utterances.

Reacting sharply on Pawan Kalyan’s comments that Telangana people suffered heavily during YSR regime, party spokesperson Gattu Ramachandra Rao said the actor should know the facts before speaking.

“YSR implemented several welfare schemes including fees reimbursement and Arogya Sri and all sections of people benefitted across the state. While this is the fact, how can you say people suffered,” he questioned the actor.

Responding to the actor’s sarcastic remark that Sri Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy should explain how he could implement his promises and from where he would bring all the money needed for implementing them, Gattu said YSRCP made the promises in its manifesto after careful consideration and calculation.

Instead of questioning the YSRCP manifesto, Pawan Kalyan should question Chandrababu Naidu as to how he would implement all his free promises to the people.

“Pawan should question Naidu if he will implement his false promises with the funds he looted and why he is joining hands with the NDA after abandoning it in the past. He should also question his brother Chiranjeevi on the source of the crores of rupees found in his daughter’s in-laws’ house and why he cheated people in the name of Prajarajyam party,” Gattu demanded.

Gattu heckled at the TDP-BJP alliance and said Naidu is stooping low holding everybody’s feet and seeking cooperation fearing defeat in the elections.

Pawan Kalyan needs a platform and BJP wants entertainers to attract people,” he said, adding Naidu faced defeat last time after forming Maha Kutami with BJP. “This time also, he is going to meet the same fate.”

Referring to Naidu’s participation in BJP-TDP public meeting on Tuesday, Gattu called it a sham show. “The party belonged to the late NTR while the activists belonged to the BJP and Naidu addressed the gathering along with Congress leaders who joined him.”
