The Bharatiya Janata Party on Friday released the manifesto for Telangana for the ensuing general elections.

Speaking to media persons after releasing the manifesto, BJP Telangana unit president G Kishan Reddy said that the manifesto has been designed based on the development models of Chattisgarh, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh. The BJP's major promises include National Project status for Pranahita-Chevella, Bathukamma as a State Festival, subsidy for solar pump sets, people friends police stations, corruption free transparent governance and effective fee-reimbursement scheme.

Kishan Reddy said that if voted to power, the BJP Government would set up super-specialty hospitals on the lines of Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences at all district-headquarters. The other promises include Airports would be set up in Khammam and Adilabad, Textiles Park at Adilabad, Railway Coach Factory at Kazipet, Singereni Industrial Corridor, dedicated super-special hospital for Singareni employees, Help Centre of External Affairs Ministry to assist and guide people of Telangana working in Gulf countries, State festival status also for Bonalu and Sammaka Sarakka Jathra and setting up of night courts for people's convenience.

Kishan Reddy hoped that the BJP-TDP combine would come to power in Telangana and appealed to the people to vote for development.

Former Governor V Rama Rao, former union minister Bandaru Dattatreyya and former MLAs N Indirasena Reddy and Dr K Lakshman were also present.
