Only Congress can develop Seemandhra, says Raghuveera

Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee president Dr N Raghuveera Reddy on Monday announced that the Congress party would come out with a comprehensive plan for the overall development of Seemandhra region.

Addressing a press conference here on the sidelines of ongoing Bus Yatra, Raghuveera Reddy said that the Congress was preparing a vision document for the development of all 13 districts of Seemandhra region. He said all needs like the irrigation, drinking water, infrastructure and other issues would be addressed in the Congress party's plans.

Expressing regret over the division of Andhra Pradesh, Raghuveera Reddy said that it was wrong to blame the Congress party alone for the bifurcation. He said all political parties including TDP and YSRCP have given their consent in writing supporting Telangana and after Congress party took decision, they changed their stand.

The APCC chief called upon the cadre to face the situation bravely and convince the people that only Congress party could develop Seemandhra.

 Union Minister K Chiranjeevi, former minister Anam Ramnarayana Reddy and other senior leaders were also present. The Seemandhra Congress leaders are conducting bus yatra in Guntur district today.
