The Congress Party will take decision on its stand on the Telangana issue after the party's plenary session being held on December 16.

Talking to reporters after reviewing the arrangements for the session at LB Stadium here on Thursday, PCC President Botsa Satyanarayana said that the party would discuss and finalise the decision on Telangana issue to be conveyed during the all-party meeting on December 28 after the party's plenary session. He said that the representatives for the all-party meeting would also be shortlisted after the plenary session.

Botsa also informed that the meeting of Congress Coordination Committee, scheduled to be held on December 15, has been postponed. He said that since Union Health Minister and incharge of AP Congress affairs Ghulam Nabi Azad would be busy with an event in New Delhi, the meeting has been postponed. The new date for the coordination committee meeting would also be decided later.

The PCC chief also denied reports of groupism within the Congress Party. He said the Congress leaders were working unitedly to take the schemes of the State and Central Government to the doorsteps of the people. However, he said several issues, including existence of minor differences among the leaders, would be thoroughly discussed in the party's plenary session.

Former minister and Coordination Committee member Mohammad Ali Shabbir, MLC MS Prabhakar and other leaders were also present.
