Bowing to the pressure of Telangana Political Joint Action Committee, the State Government on Friday gave its permission to the Telangana March.

Talking to media persons at Secretariat, Panchayati Raj Minister K Jana Reddy said that the government has agreed to allow the March from 3 pm to 7 pm at Necklace Road. He said that the government would announce route map for the March after discussing the same with the officials concerned. He said that Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy has appealed to the Telangana leaders to organise the March peacefully to maintain the brand image of Hyderabad.

Stating that his government was not against the March, he appealed to the people to participate in it peacefully. He said that the government reviewed its earlier view of not giving permission to March as Ganesh immersion and Conference on Biodiversity were falling on September 29 and October 1 respectively.

BC Welfare Minister Basavaraj Saraiah said that all Telangana Ministers and MLAs would extend their total support to the March.
