Kamalapuram Mla G Veera Siva Reddy on Friday appealed to Congress High Command not to give Ministerial berth to Praja Rajyam MLC C Ramachandraiah during the expansion of Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy's cabinet.

Talking to media persons at Assembly premises, the Congress MLA stated that he would also request Pradesh Congress Committee president Botsa Satyanarayana not to recommend Ramachandraiah’s name to high command for ministerial post in the State Cabinet. Describing Ramachandraiah as a 'weak' and 'inefficient' leader, he said that the giving away of ministerial berth to Ramachandraiah while neglecting the seniors in the party would lead to serious differences in the constituency.

Siva Reddy said that Ramachandraiah do not possess leadership abilities nor he has a strong political base in the constituency. However, he appealed to the Congress high command to allot a suitable post to Praja Rajyam chief K Chiranjeevi in the State and utilize his services for the development of State, instead of accommodating him at the Centre.
