Major injustice to T in hospital recruitments: KCR

telangana rashtra samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao on Monday alleged that Telangana people have suffered a major injustice during recruitments in hospitals.

Expressing solidarity to the doctors and nurses, who observed a one-day Deeksha at Gandhi Hospital demanding introduction of Telangana Bill in the Parliament, KCR alleged Seemandhra people have managed to get a lion share of posts in Telangana hospitals.

The TRS chief alleged that the state government has filled all posts in the Health and Medical Department violating Constitutional norms.

He added that 70 per cent non-locals have been appointed in Telangana hospitals and only 30 percent Telanganaites were recruited to the posts.

The TRS chief demanded that the state government take immediate steps to rectify the disparity and do justice to Telangana people in the appointments.

Speaking on the occasion, Rajya Sabha Member K Kesava Rao expressed confidence the Centre will take a favourable decision on Telangana state soon.

Mr Kesava Rao condemned Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy for going ahead with recruitment exams for Sub-Inspector posts without the deletion of Clause 14 F from the Presidential Orders.

Suspended Telugu Desam Party leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy demanded the Congress and TDP Telangana Forum members to clear their stand on Telangana.

He opined that the Centre was delaying the decision on Telangana issue due to lack of unity among Telangana leaders.

Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader Bandaru Dattatreya warned the state government of serious consequences if it tries to use repressive measures on the Telangana employees who propose to go on a general strike from August 17.

MP G Vivek, MLA Jupalli Krishna Rao, Telangana Jagruthi president K Kavitha, MLC Chukka Ramaiah, former MLA Pocharam Srinivas and others expressed solidarity to the doctors agitation.
