Nalgonda MP Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy on Tuesday described Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal as `villain of Telangana’ for obstructing the formation of the separate state.

Talking to media persons at Gandhi Bhavan, Komatireddy asked Mr Rajagopal to change his attitude towards Telangana and warned that the people would not allow him in the region if he does not do so.

The MP said that the Congress will bite dust in the Telangana region if the Centre does not announce its decision on the controversial bifurcation of state issue.

He said the Telangana MPs, Ministers, MLAs and MLCs would meet on July 1 to chalk out the future course of action to be adopted on the controversial issue.

The meeting will discuss on Telangana Political Joint Action Committee’s demand for resignation of elected representatives for the cause of Telangana, Mr Komatireddy stated.

Earlier, Mr Komatireddy met Pradesh Congress Committee president Botsa Satyanarayana along with Munugodu Congress workers and lodged a complaint against MLC Palwai Govardhan over his arrogant attitude.

They alleged that because of Mr Govardhan’s attitude, the party is losing its sheen in the constituency.
