The makers of Mega Power Star Ram Charan's 'Bruce Lee' have earlier announced the release date of the movie as October 16. Grapevine is that the postponement of the movie is inevitable now due to the delay in the shoot of the movie. They have later contemplated to release the movie on November 11. However, November is said to be one of the worst seasons for big ticket entertainers.

And now, the makers are mulling over to release the movie on either Maharnavami (October 21) or Vijayadashami (October 22). As per the academic calendar of Government and Private schools, Dussehra holidays have been scheduled between 10th of October and October 25 which include second Saturdays and Sundays. In such scenario, October 16 release date would have been the best choice for 'Bruce Lee'. But the production team appears to be failing to bring the movie on that day.

Incidentally, Gunasekhar's 'Rudhramadevi' will avail the advantage of Dussehra holidays to the fullest as the movie gears up for release on October 9. Moreover, the movie is a competitor to 'Bruce Lee' due to short gap between two releases. On a whole, four mega movies are likely to release with a gap of just one month and they are Sai Dharam Tej's 'Subrahmanyam for Sale', Varun Tej's 'Kanche', Allu Arjun's 'Rudhramadevi' and Ram Charan's 'Bruce Lee' which is further an indication of poor release planning of mega movies.
And last but not the least, debut hero Akhil is arriving forcibly on 21st of October. It then remains to be seen if the clash between these two movies is really possible or if any film gets postponed. Earlier, Ram Charan has the tract record of beating the collections of a top hero in face to face competition three times in a row. It is yet to be seen whether he repeats the magic or not.
