Are These Historical Blunders of Telugu People?

The Telugu People, especially, who live in newly formed Andhra Pradesh are in utter dismay and state's bifurcation is an instant reason for their agony. Following are said to be the historical blunders of Telugu People over the decades.

* When Potti Sriramulu demanded for separate Andhra province and inclusion of Madras for AP's capital, there was no good response from all corners. Potti Sriramulu's indefinite fast resulted his demise and subsequently, there was the formation of Andhra province. Unfortunately, Madras was not included and was not made the capital of Andhra despite the fact that 70% people who lived in the city were Telugus then. Tamil people were said to have fought well than Telugus for Madras. This was the first historical blunder by the Telugus.

* Telugu People repeatedly elected a single political party in many general elections and they never ever thought of electing other parties. Eventually, no social justice was done.

* There were some leaders who showed their arrogance and innocence in their administration. Even though they made many blunders, it was because of their charisma and people's lack of wisdom, they could sustain in the politics.

* For the past two decades, Telugu People have started believing the words of some of the caste based media. It was because of that media, Telugu People missed the opportunity to elect some of the great people as their leaders. Had they made them their leaders, those leaders would have fought well for keeping the state united. For that matter, had those leaders got the key positions, there was no question of agitations for separate state or united AP.

WHAT SHOULD Telugu People DO NOW?: Telugu People should be aware of current politics. Since top media houses are supporting national and state level parties, they will never fight for the benefits of the people of Telugu states. As such, Telugu People should fight for their benefits against the governments.
