Prince Mahesh's 'Okkadu' was released on January 15, 2003 and registered the biggest hit in Mahesh's career till then. The movie accumulated a share of Rs.16+ crores and ran hundred days directly in 90 centers. 

Young Tiger NTR's 'Simhadri' hit the screens on July 11, 2003. The movie stunned everybody with unanimous positive talk and humongous opening collections. the movie ran 50 days directly in 155 centers, 100 days in 145 centers and silver jubilees( 175 days) in 52( all time record till date) centers. The movie collected a share of Rs.22 crores world wide then.

Megastar Chiranjeevi's 'Tagore' was released on 24th of September, 2003. Apart from creating new records of tollywood, the movie won accolades from the critics and has stood one of the best films in Chiranjeevi's career. The movie ran 50 days in 223( with shifts 253) centers and 100 days run directly in 181 centers( with shifts 192). Also, the movie collected a share of Rs.27+ crores world wide and stood as then second biggest hit after 'Indra'( 33 crores share). In Nizam alone 'Tagore' collected nearly Rs.10 crores share. Eventually, the movie stands as bigger than 'Okkadu' and 'Simhadri' in 2003.'Tagore' completes 11 years of its release today.
