Did Sripriya Direct 'Drishyam'?

Super hit Telugu version of ‘Drishyam’ is winning the appreciations from all section of audience. Although the original is in Malayalam version directed and scripted by Jitu Joseph, it is Suresh Babu of Suresh Productions bagged the Telugu rights in association Raj Kumar Sethupathy. Coming to the point, Venkatesh and Meena starring Telugu version got the positive result and finally its director Sripriya is here in Hyderabad to express the joy and support the film on promotions front.

A movie like ‘Drishyam’ strong on content, screenplay and emotions needed a strong treatment to match the Telugu nativity. While Sripriya is not a known face to Telugu audience and Telugu authenticity, critics are seen discussing on Paruchuri Brothers who doctored the script and cameraman S Gopal Reddy took the major burden of directing the film. Although it was Sripriya for name sake, there are murmurs on both the above two Telugu names were involved in actual direction. Well, it might be true or might not be yet Hats Off to Sripriya for getting the credits.
