Following is the list of key Politicians of the state who changed their political parties.

* CHANDRABABU NAIDU: Initially, he belonged to the Congress party. Later he gave a big blow to his near and dear of the congress and joined the TDP. In the year, 1995 he dethroned late NTR and occupied the former's CM position.

* KCR: He belonged to the TDP. He was denied the ministerial post in CBN's ministry. Later, KCR launched the TRS. 

* YS JAGAN MOHAN REDDY: His father YSR was one of the great leaders in the congress party of AP. Jagan too, rendered his services as an MP of Lok Sabha through the congress party. After the demise of his father, he wished to become the CM of the state. Since the congress party denied his wishes, he launched the political party 'YSR Congress'. 

* KIRAN KUMAR REDDY: He is considered to be the betrayer of the congress party by the party's heads. Without getting sweat he occupied the CM post. Although he knew everything about the state's bifurcation long ago, he was successful in making the people believe in him as a 'Samaikyandhra' activist. Having enjoyed the CM position till the last minute, he left the party and launched 'Jaisamaikyandhra' party. 

* CHIRANJEEVI: Aiming at social justice, he entered the politics with his own PRP. However, people had not kept faith in him and defeated him in the elections. Since many MLAs threatened him to leave the party, having no option left, he merged the party into the congress. Moreover, he believed that social justice would be possible with the congress party only with his joining into the party.

* PAWAN KALYAN: He has come up with modern age innovative political strategies. According to this, one need not change the political party or need not merge the party into other party, to support other poliltical parties. That's why, though he launched 'Janasena', he is supporting BJP-TDP forces.
