Can Thammareddy Regain His Glory?

Being the son of the late producerThammareddy Krishnamurthy, Thammareddy Bharadwaja also started producing the movies from the year 1979. His debut movie 'Kothalarayudu' and the second venture 'Mogudukaavali' were good hits at the box office. Megastar Chiranjeevi was the hero in both the films. Thammareddy's production venture 'Anthahpuram' bagged good number of Nandi Awards. However, thereafter, Thammareddy's career has been running in a lean patch. Nine years ago, his movie 'Potheponi' was released but it was a disaster at the box office.

Meanwhile, Thammareddy's new movie 'Pratighatana' hit the screens on 18th of April. Although the movie offered a good message, it was due to some unnecessary satires on politics and politicians, and due to poor cast and crew, the movie generated negative talk. On the other hand, Thammareddy's well wishers are heartily wishing the producer  should regain his glory by making blockbuster films on his banner. Let's hope so.
