Heroine Legally Attacks Shopping Mall!

Like movies, promotions are necessary for all the businesses and same is applicable even for retail shopping outlets which have become rage in current market. Some how, Manjari Phadnis who acted as heroine in Junior NTR movie ‘Shakti’ filed a legal case on one of the top shopping malls of Hyderabad for illegally using her photos on their promotional material. This mall has several retail chains in Hyderabad where in Manjari photos are used like a brand ambassador in hoardings and posters.

‘In 2010, I was invited to inaugurate one of their outlets. They requested me for a photo shoot to send invitation cards used for pre-event publicity. Out of good will and trust, I obeyed and they promised to remove the posters and hoardings in next six months. Since, I live in Mumbai I cannot check on if the hoardings were really down. As they are using me as a brand ambassador from then on, I lost many endorsements. So, I want a compensatory settlement,’ Manjari informed through media. There are reports that, it could be CMR Shopping Mall, the subject in case.
