First day collection reports of ‘Ganga’ are still to come out officially. Off the record, trade sources are seeing very impressible figures to be noted down. On an eventual day of May 1st, the film suffered badly with a delayed release. Despite the morning shows are almost canceled in city and sub urban areas, ‘Ganga’ gathered unanimous positive talk from all corners of AP and TS by the time of evening shows.

Irrespective of the center and no matter whether it’s a single screen or multiplex, there are huge crowds with greater percentage of returning public due to unavailability of tickets. Occupancy on day one is much close to 90 percent, says a trade source. Although, ‘Ganga’ is not as superior product as first two parts viz. ‘Muni, Kanchana,’ the brand value of ‘Muni’ series and face value of Lawrence were enough for public turnouts.

In many single screens of Hyderabad, it was the show of ‘Black’ devils outside the theaters with balcony tickets sold at as high price as Rs.150 to 300 in black market. For masses and families out in summer vacation, money wasn’t a real problem to enjoy the thrilling kick in ‘Ganga.’ All in all, ‘Muni 3’ is going to evolve as a commercial blockbuster for sure.
