The divided talk generated for Vikram ‘I’ seems to have come in no help for Pawan Kalyan ‘Gopala Gopala.’ For a festive season like Sankranti and with no big presence of star heroes in fray, everyone expected the firstly released ‘Gopala Gopala’ to just go on a rocking spree at BO. However, the film has just hardly and finally reached 40 Crores benchmark. Main reason behind such hard run is attributed by trade analysts to the commercial success of ‘I.’

Being a dubbing film and also got brickbats from reviewers, ‘I’ still managed to break many records with mind blowing collections. Film analysts went on elevating ‘Gopala Gopala’ to benefit from the weak talk of ‘I’ which in fact did not happen. To be much more precise, ‘I’ collections exceeded ‘Gopala Gopala’ in some areas which shows that Vikram and Shankar in turn killed Pawan Kalyan and Venkatesh combination.
