'Lingaa' Comedy Hurting Them

These days, filing of legal cases on movies for unnecessary reasons in the name of ‘Self Respect’ and ‘Hurting the Sentiments’ has become quite common. While such moves might help the producers in providing additional publicity without spending an extra pie, this also might disturb the success adversely. This is what happening with Rajinikanth new release of ‘Lingaa’ where in there is a comedy scene involved with Bhat Raju community poet made fun of. 

As per media reports, heads of Bhat Raju caste have filed a case on Super Star Rajinikanth and ‘Lingaa’ producer Rockline Venkatesh demanding for immediate removal of those scenes. The case was filed in Kukatpally PS. While media attention on this case is minimal till now, we have to wait and see how producer, director and hero reacts on the issue. By the time a reply is expected, ‘Lingaa’ might close in business.
