I Did Not Kill Chakri: Wife Sravani

In less than 72 hours after the death of music director Chakri, there are family issues burning in centre. Chakri’s wife Sravani approached National Commission for Women complaining on death threats from in-laws. As we all Charki, who delivered many hit tracks for Telugu movies passed away with a sudden heart attack developed during mid night within the sleep. Sravani alleged that Chakri’s three sisters harassed her without giving access to clothes in cup board.

Chakri and Sravani had inter-caste marriage against the wishes of family. Chakri used to take care of his sisters from many years. They left the house just three weeks before Chakri breathed last. ‘There is no truth in the allegations made by Chakri’s sisters. I did not kill my husband. It was a natural death. Please do not believe in them,’ Sravani said in a media statement.
