Rana Speaks on 'Bahubali'

‘Bahubali,’ the multi crore project and highest budgeted so far for Telugu cinema is in final levels of making under the leadership of SS Rajamouli. The magnanimous star cast includes Prabhas, Anushka, Rana and many more. The film which is to be made in two parts will hit the screens in mid of next year with release planned in various languages. Along with ‘Bahubali,’ there is also one more historic project in the hands of Rana and it is ‘Rudhramadevi’ from visionary film maker Gunasekhar.

‘I did not mind taking up two back to back projects with historic and socio fantasy backdrop. I liked them because my characters are heroic and powerful. More than all, I am a big fan of folklore and history. I hope, many more socio fantasy and period drama projects fall in my kitty after the release of these two,’ Rana said. He is playing Ballala Deva, the cruel villain in ‘Bahubali.’
