'Sikindar' Boost to Telugu Film

Suriya has been enjoying a star hero status in Tollywood despite being a Tamil hero. After the times of ‘Ghajini,’ his craze roused to good highs and most of his films fared equally both in Telugu and Tamil. Films like ‘7th Sense, Singham, Yamudu’ etc showed the caliber. Now, he is all set to do a direct Telugu film very soon and the recent release of ‘Sikindar’ can be a morale booster to his decision.

Directed by Lingusamy, the movie of ‘Sikindar’ is a commercial mass entertainer with lots of action, romance and mafia backdrop. Although critics wiped off the film as below average to average, the BO show is contrasting. As per trade reports, ‘Sikindar’ released by Lagadapati Sirisha, Sreedhar are happy with the commercial verdict of audience. Definitely, Suriya will have to seriously think on beginning his direct Telugu film immediately because of the love showered by Telugu viewers on him.
