Mani Sharma is Still Happy

Till few years ago, Mani Sharma is more than a brand in South Indian music and film circles. He is the only name for star heroes to deliver super hit musical number for their super hit mass attracting films. Now-a-days, entry of young sensations likes Devi Sri Prasad, SS Thaman, Anup Rubens hasn’t left any spare for veterans to get their due share. Even then, Mani Sharma is known for superb melodies and incomparable re-recording for which even top heroes and top directors would try him for.       

‘This is the time to welcome new waters. I am happy to enjoy this leisure time globetrotting. I tried doing different films in last 15 years and audience needs a break and relief from my music. So, they are welcoming the new comers. Never the less, may it be DSP or Thaman or Harris or Joshwa Sreedhar and others, all of them have worked under me and today they are growing up which makes me feel more proud,’ Mani Sharma said. Most importantly, Mani is composing the tunes for Balakrishna’s high budget flick tentatively titled ‘Godse’ and Manchu Manoj ‘Current Theega.’
