Same is happening with producers MS Raju and PVR Raju who have cast Trisha in two of their movies with powerful characterization paying highest remuneration which was never seen or heard for a South actress.

Yes, MS Raju’s ‘Rum’ costed him Rs.1 Crore of Pay Cheque to Trisha while the untitled bi-lingual (Telugu and Tamil) of PVR Raju in Pandiyan’s direction with Trisha, Poonam Bajwa and Oviya in lead roles has to shell out Rs.1.6 Crores alone to Trisha. ‘We cannto disclose the exact number but she is worth for it. Trisha’s popularity is ever rising in South and we wanted her in our film. Of course, she alone can carry on the powerful role with her experience,’ one of the co-producer’s said.
