Till now Piracy has been a biggest problem killing the market of movies. In less than 24 hours post the release of a big ticket, we are flooded with online pirated copies helping the viewers to spend zero bucks in watching the movie sitting pretty at home. Analysts feel that, Kamal Hasan's trial of 'Vishwaroopam' hitting the small screens much before the release on big screens will curtail the piracy to certain extent adding extra revenues to producers.

As 'Vishwaroopam' being a high budgeted flick, the one time watch (pay per view) may cost Rs. 500 to Rs. 1000. Once this trend catches up fastly with viewers, producers can even decrease the prices. In the case of small and medium budgeted movies with exciting content, DTH movie watch will be a revolution. Overall, 'Vishwaroopam' has the ability to change teh face and range of Indian cinema. Let us wait till Pongal to analyse the facts.
