Bezawada, which hogged limelight for all the wrong reasons, has finally passed the Censor’s scanner.

Naga Chaitanya’s political action thriller was awarded A certification and talk is that the film has an overdose of violence

Produced by Ram Gopal Varma and Kiran Kumar Koneru and directed by Vivek Krishna the film is supposed to have a strong political backdrop going by the publicity and debates that came up during the shooting of the film.

The trouble started with the title Bezawada Rowdilu and after protracted reluctance RGV yielded to drop the suffix. Then the focus shifted to the two factions of city and threats and then there was total silence.

Amala Paul is playing the female lead in the film which will hit the screens on December 1. Sentiment has it that Nagarjuna’s Shiva was a hit and it was directed by RGV and now if the lineage is to pass on is the thinking of Akkineni family.
