Raju Gari Gadhi 3 Review, What’s Behind?

Raju Gari Gadhi first franchise was a sleeper hit, though the second installment with star studded cast stood average. Now, Ohmkar is back with third part of the horror comedy with his brother Ashwin Babu in the lead. Avika Gor is the new addition. Will the third part enchant like the first part?

Raju Gari Gadhi 3 Story Review:

Ashwin (Ashwin Babu) and his uncle Ali are happy go lucky guys who create nuisance in the colony as their daily routine. All the neighbors plot against Ashwin to fall in love with a doctor Maya (Avika Gor) who is safeguarded by a mysterious ghost that thrashes those troubling Maya. Ashwin too is thrashed when he proposes. Who this mysterious ghost is? Why is it safeguarding Maya? How Ashwin deals with the ghost to win the love of Maya? Why Ashwin travels Kerala to break the jinx?

Raju Gari Gadhi 3 Artists, Technicians Review:

The major reason for Raju Gari Gadhi evolved as a super hit was the uproarious entertainment and potential content. The second part lacked the hilarious moments. Learning the lesson, director Ohmkar made sure there’s adequate humor in this latest chapter. Masses may love the comedy part, especially in the second half. The Kota episodes will tickle funny bone for extended period. The film, nonetheless, lacked strong conflict point which pushes RGG3 onto back seat.

Ohmkar gets full credit for utilizing all the resources provided with. Production standards are top class. Chota K Naidu with his consistent blocks showed variation in mood for different circumstances. Shabir has come up with massy tunes and his work on BGM stood intriguing. Art direction deserves a special mention.

Onto performances, Ashwin as the lead delivered a good punch. His dances and fun part showed the development as an artist. Avika Gor has got a meaty role and delivered a convincing performance as doctor with strange quandary. Ali was super funny as Ashwin’s uncle and his one-liners scored claps. Brahmaji and batch is cool, wherein Ajay Ghosh and Urvashi shouldered the burden in second half.

Raju Gari Gadhi 3 Review, Rating Analysis:

The advantage of horror-comedy movies is that a few number of fun scenes featuring comedians and decent numbers of spooky scenes will do the trick. Raju Gari Gadhi 3 is one such attempt where one-liners from the comedy batch scored more prominence than engaging story. As is known, the film is remake of Tamil movie Dhilluku Dhuddu 2.

First half begins on interesting note giving hint about the mysterious ghost and how it protects Avika Gor. However, the story goes overboard with nuisance of Ashwin and Ali with their neighbors. The one-liners work most of the times, despite some jokes not being in good taste. The romantic track fell flat. Interval episode creates some drama, gives some hopes for better entertainment in the key second half.

Latter half takes off on slow note with Ashwin waiting for an opportunity. The flashback episode where the story of mysterious ghost is narrated is neither unique nor engaging. Then, the real show begins when lead pair along with the comedy batch enter the Kota for performing Pooja. The spooky scenes in the pre climax portions have ample fun though a bit stretched which affected the overall mood. Climax portion appears incomplete and hurried due to shortage of conflict point

Overall, Raju Gari Gadhi 3 is not as brilliant as RGG1 but end of the day, it entertains a section of audience with dialogues and funny one-liners. A better story and a convincing romantic track would have helped the movie score more. CJ goes with 2.5 stars. We need to wait and see how the film fares at box office.
