Little Hearts (2025) Telugu Movie: Story Review

Little Hearts story revolves around a youngster's experiences during his education involving his friends and heartbreaks and how he warded off all those difficulties and emerged victorious. Mohan Rao (Rajeev Kanakala), a Government Employee, aspires his son Akhil (Mouli Tanuj Prashanth) to become an Engineer from a top institute and he goes all out for it.

Where this leads to , how Akhil responds, what role his mother Srilatha (Anitha Chowdhary), beautiful girl Kathyayani (Shivani Nagaram), her doctor parents (SS.Kanchi, Satya Krishnan) and his friends played, form the rest of the developments.

Little Hearts Movie: Artists Review

Mouli Tanuj Prashanth slipped into the role effortlessly. He showed good expressions and emotions and delivered dialogues with ease. His bodylanguage is good and he entertained viewers with his performance making an impact on the screen. He showed his natural flair and continued from where he left with his performance in 90s-A Middle Class Biopic.

Shivani Nagaram did her role well and she with her performance enabled Mouli to take the narration forward. She did what was required from her for the role. She did justice to her role.

Rajeev Kanakala got a role tailor made for him and he performed in a way helping the story to sail forward in a smooth manner. The role is typical for him and he played many such roles earlier. Anita Chowdhary is good in the role of the houswife and mother of the male lead.

SS.Kanchi and Satya Krishnan are ok in the roles of the parents of the female lead. Others performed according to their roles and the actors who played the roles of the friends did well and generated humour along with Mouli with their dialogues.

Little Hearts Movie: Technicians Review

Little Hearts story is written and directed by Sai Marthand. The film has the flavor of the hit webseries 90s-A Middle Class Biopic. One can not miss the similarities as the film is produced by Aditya Hasan who directed 90s-A Middle Class Biopic. Almost all the scenes highlight the similarities with the parents trying to impose their ideas and dreams on their children and children suffering ultimately unable to oppose their parents.

The story follows the same pattern and to dilute the monotony, the director added Telangana slang and this added value as the dialogues in Telangna accent and the comedy generated with it through hero and heroes friends worked out well in the first half. The screenplay is decent enough in the first half and it comes with an interesting twist.

Many expected the similar kind in the second half but the director tried to overdo with his attempt and inorder to generate more fun, he infact turned up adding repetitive scenes. The second half narration turns out to be a complete dud and puts off viewers instantly. The climax also turns out to be a huge letdown after promising much toning down the impact levels.

Suriya Balaji's cinematography showed the film's scenes in a natural and realistic manner. He used camera angles and captured the scenes and locations in such a manner to give a realistic feel on the screen. Sreedhar Sompally's editing is ok but could have been better especially in the second half as there are many drags and repetitive scenes. The music tuned by Sinjith Yerramilli turned out to be a mixed bag. The songs are situational and while few appealed ,others tested the patience of all. His background music as per the storyline. Production values are good.

Little Hearts Movie: Advantages

  • Hilarious Scenes
  • Cinematography

Little Hearts Movie: Disadvantages

  • Illogical Scenes
  • No Real Twists

Little Hearts (2025) Telugu Movie: Rating Analysis

Altogether, Little Hearts turns out to be a pure youthful entertainer. People, especially genex viewers can enjoy if they donot look into the logics. Director Sai Marthand got the optimum out of the actors through their performances and blended it well with hilarious scenes. The story turns out to be predictable but the screenplay turns out to be decent enough with the dialogues in Telangana accent evoking few laughs. Had he taken care of the second half, done away with monotonous elements and few illogical scenes and worked on the screenplay and turned it more racy adding few interesting twists, things would have been different. Considering all these elements, Cinejosh goes with a 2.75 rating for Little Hearts.
