Behind Lion Movie :  Having postponed its release twice, NBK's Lion has hit the screens today (14-05-2015) through out the world. After the plenitude success of his previous flick Legend, Bala Krishna have opted debut director Sathya Deva's story that is expected to surpass the expectations of fans and continue his triumph of Legend. The promotional trailers in which NBK has delivered powerful dialogues have recieved ample response and made fans believe that this movie would be a staunch landmark in    NBK's career. Let us see in detail if NBK's Lion has the potentiality to be such sort of the film in hero's career as expected by his fans.

Main Plot : The story opens in an mortuary ward where Bose (Nandamuri Bala Krishna) is one among on the several dead bodies. But, he regains his breath and comes out of mortuary by himself. He fails to identify his own parents and believes that his name is Bose and he is a CBI officer, while his parents Chandra Mohan and Jaya Sudha insist that his name is Godse and he is the CEO of Murugan Construction Company owned by Murugan (Kota Srinivasa Rao). He travels with and in Ambali(Ali)'s Taxi in search of his lost life. In this journey he happends to meet Maha Lakshmi (Trisha) whom he believes that she was his girlfriend and she is an owner of a finance company. But Maha Lakshmi denies his approach and show him an evidence that she is an employee of a Software Company Infosys. Even then Bose doesn't give up and continue travelling in search of his house in Hyderabad and finally finds it. The house he visits is owned by Chalapati Rao, whom Bose believes that he is his father. Trying to make Bose recover from his memory loss and remembers him about his marriage with Sarayu (Radhika Apte) in Mumbai. But, Bose sticks to his old belief and to make him come out of such false belief Maha Lakshmi proposes an idea of having DNA test to confirm the details of Bose alias Godse's birth details. The DNA reports declares that he is Godse and is son of Chandra Mohan and Jaya Sudha. With this DNA did Bose come out of his beliefs or did he travelled with the same confusion to marry Maha Lakshmi and to be a son of Chalapathi Rao is the remaining interesting plot to be seen on screens.

On Screen Artists : Nandamuri Bala Krishna worked hard to accomplish his responsibility by delivering matured performance in the two different shades, his dialogue delivery is as usual and delighting the mass crowd in theatres. one could see his dedication towards his profession in the fights of this film. Trisha has fit into her role and entertained to the maximum possible extent and her chemistry with Bala Krishna ais fresh and natural. Radhika Apte is  limited to two songs and very few scenes and strictly speaking her character is a guest appearance that has the relation to hero's character in the inbuilt created story. Prakash Raj and Kota Srinivasa Rao have done an enormous job in elevating their respective roles. M.S.Narayana and Ali have lengthy characters and Posani Krishna Murali appears as Police Officer in one scene. But, all the three failed to tickle audience with their timing performance. Remaining artists like Chandra Mohan, Jaya Sudha, Chalapathi Rao have over dramatised the normal emotional scenes with their over acting and diluted the depth of the content.

Off Screen Technicians : Music Director Mani Sharma is the technician who deserves big applause and wide appreciations for his enormous re recording which stood as highlight of the movie. Also his songs with mass beats are entertaining mass audience and especially NBK fans in theatres and making them step out of their seats and dance to the beats. Fights composed by Ram Lakshman masters are the outstanding fights in NBK's recent films. The tribal fight is the most appreciable one of all the fights of the film. Cinematography is satisfactory and it helped to carry the mood and theme of the movie in correct direction visually. Producer Rudrapati Ramana Rao had succeeded in producing a different film with debut director by maintaing good productional values and not exceeding the limit of the designed budget. The story element is fresh and interesting. It's a different story from the previous ones of NBK's films. Director Sathya Deva have ruined the essence of his story element with his poor story treatment. He failed in adding the commercial elements to the experimental story. The screen play would have been more efficient to put audience vision on the story without deviation. Director has misused the mass numbers of Mani Sharma by the wrong placements of the songs. Viewers who are travelling with the story are being deviated with the wrong placement of the songs. Direction wise Sathya Deva haven't taken the enviable output from his crew members. This is the script to be handled by experienced directors, but producer and hero trusted Sathya Deva and given chance to handle this project. But, director failed to deliver the expected output that this promising script deserves. Editor Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao's should have trimmed the unnecessary scenes between Trisha and Bala Krishna which are irrelevant to the main stream of the movie.

Conclusion : This is not a roaring Lion.
