Calling Sahasra Telugu Film: Technicians Review

Arun Vikkirala crafts the storyline of Calling Sahasra, delving into the realms of a crime thriller. The narrative kicks off on an engaging note, offering an intriguing and exciting introduction. However, the initial interest wanes quickly, only to be revived as the curiosity intensifies around the interval. The romantic subplot between the lead characters navigates the commercial path, while Vikkirala strategically incorporates action sequences to heighten Sudheer's heroism. The second half maintains a consistent tone, culminating in intense action sequences following the violent pre-interval block.

Despite an interesting plot, Vikkirala's execution results in a somewhat routine story. The screenplay could benefit from greater tautness, and while the direction is acceptable, it leaves room for improvement.

Garry BH's editing, though passable, could have been more meticulous to achieve a more concise runtime. Sunny's cinematography, on the other hand, stands out, presenting visuals in an engaging and exciting manner. Mohith Rahmaniac's musical compositions are deemed just adequate, with a couple of melodious songs beautifully shot. Mark K Robin's background score adds a positive dimension. While the dialogues are decent, there is room for enhancement.

The film's production values are commendable, contributing to the overall appeal. Despite its narrative intricacies, Calling Sahasra benefits from strong visuals and solid production values, even as some aspects like editing and screenplay leave room for refinement.

However, a bit of refinement in the script could have yielded more favorable outcomes. Taking into account these elements, Cinejosh assigns a rating of 1 for Calling Sahasra. While the film presents an interesting premise, the execution and narrative development leave room for improvement, impacting its overall cinematic impact.
