Sania Mirza, the Indian Tennis sensation who settled in life marrying Pakistani Cricketer Shoab Malik is angry with Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF)’s spreading of false rumors. It is reported that PTF wanted Indian Tennis Star to play an exhibition match in Lahore for flood relief victims. For participating in the match, PTF says, she has reportedly demanded Rs.11 Lakhs.
PTF President Irshad Bhatti said, ‘Federation is keen to organize a match between Sania and Kveta Peshke. We spoke to Sania but she was reluctant to play in Lahore. Later she demanded Rs.11 Lakh fee for the match.’ More disgusting is, when the Federation contacted Shoaib Malik, he was heard to be more stringent on fees.
Sania reacted furiously on these allegations. ‘Nobody approached me for any charity match. They are tarnishing my image by spreading the rumors on my Rs.11 Lakh demand,’ Sania went serious.
