The cricket match between India and Pakistan is always treated as a war between two countries. As the upcoming contest is going be the semi finals of World Cup 2011, the intensity and fervor will be all time high. While the tight match is going to entertain the cricket lovers in a big way, there is also a commercial angle into it.

A media report says that betting in the range of Rs.5000crores is to happen on this crucial match while TV broadcasters have also increased the tariffs of commercial advertisements in between the match. During the start of World Cup, tariff for a 10 seconds ad was fixed in between Rs.3 to 5Lakhs which is increased now to Rs.13 to 17Lakhs minting high money.

Punjab Cricket Association and Punjab Government made high level arrangements for selling of tickets but black marketeers made life miserable as Rs.250 ticket is sold for Rs.3000 while Rs.1000 ticket is negotiable between Rs.10000 and Rs.15000. As Mohali is already flooded with tourists and cricket lovers, lodging and boarding facilities in the town were insufficient and hotel rooms 25Kms away from the town are reserved early. Now one can expect what is going to be the situation of Bars and Pubs all over India on the big day of Wednesday.
