Anasuya Bharadwaj, anchor turned actress has made a name for herself in the entertainment industry. She has been constantly in the news be it for her glamour or controversies or her roles in films. Anasuya stays in the news in one way or another. Keeping aside her controversial posts or excessive glamour show which are completely her personal choices, no one denies her performances in some roles. Anasuya did one such role in her upcoming film Vimanam.

After gaining much fanfare with her looks on TV, reports were Anasuya was asked for a special song in Pawan Kalyan - Trivikram, 's Attarintiki Daredi. But, she didn't do it and finally made her film debut with Nagarjuna's Soggade Chinni Nayana and made her presence felt. But, her role with negative shades in Adivi Sesh's Kshanam showcases the acting side of Anasuya

Then Sukumar wrote her the role of Rangammattha in Ram Charan starrer Rangasthalam.  This has become a game-changer for her. She lived in the role and earned fame with that film. She was also impressed as Dakshayini in Pushpa. Her role in Krishna Vamsi's Rangamarthanda also received praise. Now she is coming up with yet another bold and strong role in the upcoming film Vimanam.

Anasuya did the role of Sumathi, a slum dweller who is bold and has an emotional angle. Rahul Ramakrishna is seen as her secret admirer who loves her immensely but is unable to express his love directly to her. It is being said that Anasuya's role and her performance will be her career best. Especially a 10-minute scene between her and Rahul stands out, as per inside reports. Vimanam is releasing in Telugu - Tamil on June 9th. Samuthirakani and Master Dhruvan played lead roles as father and son in the film.
