Dead Pixels is a British television sitcom that is extremely popular and it started streaming on E4 on 28 March 2019. It focuses on the obsession of three friends, Meg, Nicky and Usman, for a fictional massive multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) called Kingdom Scrolls.  According to the latest, Telugu version of UK sitcom Dead Pixels is planned by Disney+Hotstar and BBC.

The Indian adaptation feature Mega Star Chiranjeevi's daughter Niharika Konidela, Harsha Chemudu, Sai Ronak, Akshay Lagusani and Bhavana Sagi in the lead roles. Akshay Poolla provided the story and is directed by Aditya Mandala. The series has 6 episodes and will follow the journey of three young friends whose lives revolve around an online video game, with the ultimate goal of defeating a virtual villain.

The Indian version is bankrolled by BBC, Studios India and Tamada Media Ltd, with animation by Keyframe Studios. The Indian version will be set in Hyderabad backdrop and depicts the narration in a  hilarious way. Sameer Gogate, General Manager, BBC Studios Production India shared "We are excited to partner with Disney+ Hotstar on this young modern comedy. This immersive British format provides an insight into the lives of new age introverts and depicts their relationships and social interactions.
