Vijay-Atlee To Join Hands

Some combinations will start creating records right from their announcements. Thalapathy Vijay and Director Atlee's combination is one among them. They have delivered hat-trick blockbusters in a row with Theri, Mersal and Bigil. Now they are back again for another project, #Thalapathy68 top production house Sun Pictures is bank-rolling the project.

The project will kick-start once Atlee completes Jawan with Shahrukh Khan and meanwhile Vijay will wrap up his film with Director Lokesh Kanagaraj. Reports also suggest that the project will have a whopping budget of over Rs 300 crore. There is no official announcement yet of this collaboration from the producer. Thalapathy 68 is Vijay's fourth film with Atlee after Mersal, Bigil and Theri.

Thalapathy 67 is eyeing for October 19th release. Thalapathy 68 is supposed to start in June, 2023.
