Nithiin Doesn’t Want His Film To Release In Theatres

Lockdown has turned blessing in disguise for many producers who opted for OTT release of their films. Had those films hit the screens, they would have become huge disasters. Thankfully for producers, it was OTT players who bore all the losses. However, few heroes who are confident of their films to shine at box office or forcing producers not to ink deals of OTT release.

Under these circumstances, hero Nithiin is against the theatrical release of his long pending project Check. Nithiin indeed is doing the project out of respect for Chandrasekhar Yeleti and he is not anyway convinced the way the film shaping up. He is insisting his producer to release the film directly on digital platform, rather than going for theatrical release.

Since there are no parameters to calculate whether a film is hit or flop, Nithiin wants OTT release will be better option for Check. He is not even promoting the film in any manner, rather than posting promotional content on his social media handles.

On the other hand, Nithiin is willing to release his other film Rang De in theatres, although producers want to release it on digital space, if cinema halls will not open in next one to two months.
